Big Winds Can Be Big Killers | Travel to Australia
When Hurricane Katrina struck the Gulf Coast in August, 2005, a storm surge up to 20-ft. and higher struck many coastal cities in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama , and breached New Orleans’s levees, flooding the city.
